As a reminder, Medicaid is different than Medicare, which provides qualifying individuals with health and hospital insurance. These programs are commonly referred to as Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, as well as Medicare Part D, which is a prescription service. Medicaid is a program that helps five broadly defined groups including children, pregnant women, adults with dependent children, people with disabilities, and individuals age 65 and older.
