Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal Skills are important to the success of a leader.  Interpersonal skills include the attitudes, manners and behaviors that leaders use around others in the workgroup.  The importance of interpersonal skills is often underestimated by new managers and supervisors.

Interpersonal skills begin to be developed early in a person's life, and are influenced by family members as well as observing other people around us.  In some workplace behavioral models, interpersonal skills are often described as the common thread between:
