Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal Skills are important to the success of a leader.  Interpersonal skills include the attitudes, manners and behaviors that leaders use around others in the workgroup.  The importance of interpersonal skills is often underestimated by new managers and supervisors.

Interpersonal skills begin to be developed early in a person's life and are influenced by family members and observing other people around us.  In some workplace behavioral models, interpersonal skills are often described as the common thread between:
